Latitude v. Wind

The plot is very disperse, but most cities observed wind speeds of less than 10 mph.

Wind speeds above 20 mph appear to be uncommon within 20 degrees of the equator. More observations could determine if this finding is significant, or simply a random signal in a small sample of observations with high wind speeds.
